***Any damage done to your device is your own responsibility. Rooting voids your warranty. Follow at your own risk*** ***Only works with AT&T Galaxy S2 SGH-i777. No other devices period*** ***If you have problems and want to simply return back to factory settings go to galaxys2root.com and follow instructions*** 1. Go to galaxys2root.com and follow instructions. 2. Install Kies from www.samsung.com 3. Go to the market on phone and download rom manager (This will be used in a later step. We're just downloading it while wifi is still working to save data). 4. Plug into usb and put your phone in download mode by pushing vol up vol down and power. 5. Download GalaxyS2ATTRootZedomax.zip and run odin3v1.85.exe 6. Click PDA and choose "SGH-I777-ATTGalaxyS2RootStockZedomaxKernel.tar" and hit start. Wait for phone to restart. 7. You are now rooted but wifi will not work because of zedomax kernel. 8. Now we will flash a new kernel with working wifi. 9. Go to rom manager on phone and flash cwm recovery. Select att galaxy s2 (Unfortunately this must be done over at&t's network because you can't connect to wifi and we couldn't do it while you did have wifi because you weren't rooted yet). 10. Go to forum.xda-developers.com and download DD_12212011.zip (A newer of version of the kernel should work just fine too). 11. Plug in phone to usb.
